Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Ithaca Rentals & Renovations Inc. as a Property Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, gather and empty trash, scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities, high and low dusting of furniture, walls, and equipment, clean windows, mirrors, and partitions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify Property Managers of any visible maintenance issues.
  • Snow Shoveling and Groundskeeping: Shovel snow around the property and keep buildings and surrounding property in good order.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, and bend, and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Reliable Transportation: MUST HAVE reliable transportation to and from work.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: All employees MUST be vaccinated against COVID-19 before commencing work.
