Job Title: HVAC Installation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Installation Lead to join our team at Custom Aire Inc.

Job Summary

The HVAC Installation Lead will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers.
  • Travel to job sites and work with install coordinators to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Be available to work occasional nights or weekends.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicles, including refueling, reporting mechanical issues, and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms.
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in vehicles.
  • Obtain payment and customer signatures at completion of jobs.
  • Document all installed equipment, including make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as needed.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
  • Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business, such as service contracts and additional services.
  • Provide superb customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.
  • 5+ years of HVAC installation technician experience or 2+ years of lead HVAC installation technician experience.
  • Knowledge of residential and light commercial forced air oil/gas/heat pump and hydronic boilers.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to attend training classes and seminars.
  • Willingness to work extra hours if demand requires it.
