Key Responsibilities- Aircraft Sheet Metal Support: Perform a full range of aircraft sheet metal duties, including disassembling, modifying, repairing, and reassembling complex aircraft metal items and systems.
- Structural Analysis: Analyze and evaluate structural damage to metal systems and items, and develop patterns using a combination of parallel and radial line development.
- Manufacturing and Installation: Fabricate, install, and repair a variety of items and systems made from a wide variety of metals, including stainless steel, copper sheet, magnesium, honeycomb, alloys, and aluminum.
- Administrative Duties: Comply with all required trainings and other administrative functions required by the company and the customer, assist in maintaining NAMP Programs, and ensure personnel comply with safety procedures.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and minimum experience or military experience as an aircraft airframes or sheet metal mechanic.
- Security Clearance: Must have a security clearance and be a U.S. Citizen.
- Skills and Technology: Possess analytical and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, and working knowledge with computer and Advance Skill Management (ASM) or willing to learn the functions.
- Competitive Pay: The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on the current rate agreed in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for this site.
