Highly Skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

Amentum seeks a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join its team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and modifications. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulic systems, and landing gear.
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components and systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure that all maintenance work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on rotary-wing aircraft.
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulic systems, and landing gear.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
While not required, experience with the MH-60R aircraft would be a significant advantage. Additionally, a background in aviation safety and quality control would be beneficial.
