Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms and suites, including bathrooms and kitchens, to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and interact with guests in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, including lifting and moving heavy items, operating vacuums, and using cleaning solutions.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to laundry duties, including washing and drying of linens and towels.
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from hotel rooms and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 6 months of experience in cleaning or janitorial-related fields.
  • 6 months+ years of food preparation and service experience.
  • Emotionally competent and able to effectively manage disruptive emotions and impulses.
  • Engage every guest in conversation and recognition.
  • Resolve any guest issue immediately.
  • Promote the hotel by demonstrating a high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests.
  • Ability to anticipate guests' needs.
  • Represents the hotel to the guest throughout any stage of the guest's stay.
  • Embraces and respects diversity and multicultural environment.
  • At least average oral communication skills.
  • Requires walking and repetitive motions, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Able to stand, sit, and walk for more than 4 hours.
  • Background screening for previous criminal history.
  • Employment may be contingent upon at least 80% score on test on hotel's reservations system (PMS) after training.
  • At least high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Participate in all training as assigned.
