As a Triage Medical Assistant, you will:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient health concerns via telephone, employing established medical protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a seasoned Medical Assistant who excels in telephonic patient assessment and adheres strictly to established protocols.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a clinical environment (preferably in private practice or emergency care).
- Exceptional communication abilities and a compassionate approach to healthcare inquiries.
- Proficient in computer usage, with strong data entry skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to follow triage protocols effectively.
- Capable of interpreting and understanding medical chart notes, results, and orders.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable with extended periods of phone communication while seated.
- Certification as a CMA, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic is preferred.
