Job Title: Chassis Technician

We are seeking a skilled Chassis Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a Chassis Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop under supervision
  • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect chassis and/or chassis components
  • Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor
Requirements:
  • A current valid license is required for this role
  • Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
  • This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
  • This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements
