Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group are seeking a skilled Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant to join their on-campus clinic and hospital-based practice in Boise, Idaho.
This busy practice treats a wide range of arterial and venous disorders, as well as vascular trauma. The team utilizes advanced data-driven surgical and endovascular techniques, and has a dedicated non-invasive laboratory staffed by RVTs.
Responsibilities will include medical and surgical care of inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients, as well as surgical first assisting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at a high level of independent clinical decision making, while also collaborating closely with vascular surgeons.
The schedule for this opportunity is as needed in clinic, OR, and after hours. Call responsibilities are seven days per month, including one weekend.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
- Experience in managing patients with vascular disease, open and endovascular surgical experience, and endoscopic vein harvest.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
