Overview:
St. Luke's Acute Care Surgery is a leading general surgery group in Idaho, providing comprehensive surgical care for Emergency General Surgery and Level III Trauma patients. Our team of 13 surgeons and 9 Advance Practice Providers work together to deliver high-quality patient care across our medical campuses in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. The practice offers a flexible schedule with hour shifts per month, with opportunities for additional elective general surgery practice.

The shifts are designed to provide continuity for patients, with 4 day weekday blocks and 3 day weekend day blocks, and at times 1 week consecutively per surgeon preference.

Night call is similarly distributed.

Our Advance Practice Providers support the day to day routine with daily rounds, surgical assistance, and provide a high level of efficient patient care for an inpatient census as high as 25 per day.

St. Luke's ACS enjoys and works to maintain tremendous physician specialty referral/consultation relationships to provide excellent surgical care to our patients. The ACS schedule provides a surgeon with an excellent quality of life via the team design. The surgical workload continues to increase with our ever growing population in Idaho. We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking surgeon to join our team.
