Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with purchases, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and backroom areas.
  • Process customer transactions, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
