  • Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, while maintaining a secure environment for play and exploration.
  • Implement Safety Guidelines: Enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure environment for children to engage with gym equipment and activities.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Monitor and assist children as they interact with the gym equipment and activities, fostering an inclusive atmosphere where children of all abilities can thrive.
  • Maintain a Positive Gym Environment: Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff to maintain a welcoming and positive gym environment.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking guests in, processing payments, handling concessions and retail transactions, and utilizing software to register new members.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all services, prices, programs, and offerings to provide exceptional support to gym members and guests.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for Working with Children: Enthusiasm to work with children of all abilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Previous Experience Working with Children: Previous experience working with children, preferably children with special needs.
  • Education and Certifications: High School diploma or enrollment in a 3rd or 4th year in high school, with a pre-employment screening including a background check and CPR certification.
  • Availability: Weekend availability, with the ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow team members.
  • Ability to Remain Calm in Challenging Situations: Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially challenging situations, prioritizing the safety and needs of the children.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule Flexibility: Schedules may change periodically to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Working with Children with Challenging Behaviors: Coaches may work with children who exhibit aggressive behaviors, such as biting, scratching, pulling hair, hitting, and/or kicking. We will provide training as needed to manage challenging behaviors.
