Position Overview


We are seeking a skilled Information Security Solutions Architect to join our Information Security Strategy and Intelligence team.

This role offers the flexibility of being remote within the U.S.


Our Information Security division collaborates with business development teams throughout different phases of corporate relationships, whether involving research partnerships or acquisitions.

We provide expert advisory services aimed at minimizing risks and technical challenges during these processes.


As an Information Security Solutions Architect, you will serve as the primary liaison between security and various technical and business teams, functioning at both operational and strategic levels. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating design and advisory tasks across different sectors of the information security team concerning specific acquisitions and research initiatives.

Your role will involve engaging with internal research and business intelligence teams, technical personnel, and other members of the information security division to create and deliver security products and services.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing the services offered by this program, ensuring that ongoing acquisitions receive appropriate security services at the right moments.

This position will be part of the Cyber Threat Intelligence team, with a collaborative relationship with our security architecture division.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with infrastructure, technology, security teams, and acquisition target teams to synchronize core security and technology services during acquisitions or divestitures.

2. Work alongside infrastructure, technology, and security teams to formulate, document, and implement secure design frameworks for partnerships with strategic alliance partners.

3. Partner with internal security and technical teams to create new security playbooks and services tailored to business alliances and strategic acquisitions.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in a relevant area of security architecture (such as Cloud Security, Application Security, Network Security, or Identity Management) and will be able to discuss effective solutions they have designed and successfully executed.


Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience; Master's Degree with 8 years of experience; PhD with 4 years of experience.

- A minimum of five years in an information security role, ideally as a Security Architect or Security Engineer.

- Direct experience in designing and/or implementing solutions related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations.

- Familiarity with a range of security tools and capabilities, preferably with some hands-on operational experience (both self-hosted and cloud-based).

- Knowledge of popular cloud platforms and their associated security solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and collaboration tools (M365, Slack).

- Understanding of Active Directory and related security constructs (domains, forests, trusts, etc.).

- Relevant certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, GEIR are highly desirable.

- A solid grasp of industry security standards, including NIST 800, ISO 27001, etc.

- Additional technical or industry certifications (e.g., SANS, AWS, etc.) are a plus.
