Department Trainer

The Department Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to employees within a specific department or area of the manufacturing facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively and safely.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and department managers to identify training needs and develop training programs.
• Design and deliver training sessions and workshops to employees, both in-person and virtually.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires within the department, including developing and delivering orientation programs.
• Assess employee skill levels and identify areas for improvement, providing targeted training and coaching as needed.
• Ensure employees are trained on safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.

• A high school or GED is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience in delivering training programs and conducting training needs assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.

• Competitive salary range: $55,491.00 - $76,301.00.
