We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Therapist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies and support plans.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development and intervention strategies.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
