About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up pressure testing equipment and inspecting for leaks.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Monitor quality procedures and perform in-process and final inspections.

    ">">
  • Develop and maintain company inspection reports through the manufacturing process.

    ">">
  • Ensure finished goods and products meet and exceed company standards as well as customer specifications.

    ">">
  • Calibrate test equipment and ensure it is working correctly.

    ">">
  • Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.

    ">">
  • Collect test data and draft quality reports.

    ">">
  • Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.

    ">">
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.

    ">">
  • Prepare non-conformance reports as necessary.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or GED and some college preferred.

    ">">
  • 5 years' experience in Inspection or quality technician/specialist.

    ">">
  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.

    ">">
  • Experience using measuring devices, calipers, micrometers, welding gases.

    ">">
  • A high level of visual awareness and attention to detail.

    ">">
  • Advanced organizational and multitasking skills.

    ">">
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data.

    ">">
  • The ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

    ">">
  • The ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.

    ">">
  • The ability to stand for long periods.

    ">">
  • Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
