Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
">We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, working with students in grades K-8. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children's learning and development, promoting their participation and success in the classroom.
">Responsibilities:
">- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs related to motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
- Design and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions to promote student participation and success.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and support IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and other developmental areas.
- Maintain detailed progress reports, documenting student growth and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements:
">- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- North Carolina Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage caseloads and schedules efficiently.
Salary:
">The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
