Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for constructing, assembling, or refurbishing products or components based on customer specifications and internal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Align and position components for assembly, utilizing manual or mechanical assistance.
- Repair or replace defective parts or assemblies as necessary.
- Develop or revise assembly instructions to enhance efficiency.
- Interpret assembly blueprints and specifications to plan assembly operations.
- Utilize hand and power tools to fasten or install components into assemblies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Review engineering change requests and propose improvements to production processes.
- Meet production goals by understanding assembly targets and output requirements.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moderate noise levels that may be distracting.
- Work conducted in a metal fabrication and warehouse setting without climate control.
- Consistent use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- Standard workweek consists of 40 hours, with potential for overtime based on production needs.
Physical Demands
