We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients and collect co-payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Make patient reminder calls to verify appointments, required referrals, and pre-certifications.
- Coordinate physician orders and schedule appointments and testing as needed.
- Manage large volumes of inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Update patient information in our computer database and document phone calls as necessary.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work under stress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Organizational skills and knowledge of general office equipment.
