Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Function as a preceptor to new staff, a charge nurse, and a member of the healthcare team, demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Quality and Safety: Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self-development, ensuring a high level of service and quality care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of computer software, including electronic patient records, and ability to use the internet for literature searches.
