About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment malfunctions or abnormalities in a timely manner.
  • Utilize your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and industrial maintenance to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs is essential.
  • Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Excellent understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and ability to perform routine inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and rectify equipment malfunctions.
  • Proactive approach towards safety and ability to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies or urgent maintenance requests.
