Job Summary

Silverado Resort and Spa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the service in the Market and Bakery and the Pool. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a supervisory role and be able to motivate and coach team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence: Spearhead the service in the Market and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Management: Train new associates, ensure work areas are properly stocked, and prepare requisitions as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality, ensure cleanliness and appearance of menus, and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication with oncoming shifts, handle guest complaints or special requests, and communicate with management when necessary.
  • Operations: Check staffing levels, adjust according to business demand, and perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory role in a cafe or similar environment is preferred.
  • Certifications: Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required in compliance with California laws.
Working Conditions
  • Flexible Schedule: Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Physical Demands: Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand during entire shift and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
  • Operating a Golf Cart: This role requires operating a golf cart.
