Job Summary:

The Commercial Driver is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently delivering parts and tires to commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a delivery truck of less than three tons and ensure the delivery load is properly secured.
  • Verify load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and acquire signatures.
  • Load and unload product on the delivery truck by hand, hand truck, or dolly.
  • Collect cash and checks from commercial customers.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
  • Provide important information to the Commercial Sales Specialist regarding competitor promotions, pricing, and customer feedback.
  • Effectively communicate with store associates, management, and customers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license without any DUIs.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen.
  • Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, bills of lading, and product descriptions.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
  • Ability to apply mathematical formulas to calculate commissions and discounts.
