Role Summary:
  • Install, configure, operate, and maintain both Windows and Linux systems
  • Enhance system stability and performance
  • Ensure security measures are upheld, monitor system health, and resolve issues
  • Responsible for the systems that support our infrastructure
  • Deliver tier 3 engineering support
Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations for Linux and Windows environments
  • Develop and sustain environments within Amazon Web Services
  • Safeguard system security and integrity
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance
  • Implement testing methodologies and document outcomes
  • Research and suggest innovative technologies
  • Collaborate with colleagues for effective system integration
Qualifications and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency with Redhat or Centos
  • Familiarity with VMWare ESXi infrastructure
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, and Git
  • Knowledge of AWS and Elasticsearch
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification as a Linux System Administrator
  • Understanding of network engineering principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
  • Familiarity with Cisco Nexus switches
