Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents. This includes providing quality move-ins, ensuring residential satisfaction, and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

Prepares make-ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping duties.

Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintains knowledge of maintenance functions, including plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).

Maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, operational, and safe for residents.

May be required to work on-call to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.

Attends and participates in training programs as required by Cushman and Wakefield.

Performs all duties in a timely manner and delivers superior customer service, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's license

EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification

CPO or local city required certificate

Ability to read and understand documents, including policy manuals, safety rules, and operating instructions

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and prepare and interpret bar graphs

Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in routine situations

Ability to utilize common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment, with regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing and walking for extended periods, ascending and descending staircases, ladders, and step stools, and traveling up to 10% of the time. The employee must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
