This position is designed for individuals eager to learn and contribute to a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of service that support critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive training across various aspects of steam and chiller plant operations, including but not limited to: boilers, chillers, and associated systems.
- Assist senior operators in their daily tasks, gaining practical knowledge and skills.
- Perform routine checks and maintain accurate logs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct water treatment assessments and execute system lubrications as required.
- Participate in inspections and preventive maintenance, documenting any issues for resolution.
- Support safety protocols during equipment isolation and operational procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility as per established guidelines.
- Be prepared to step into operational roles during emergencies or staff absences, ensuring continuity of service.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to navigate various environments within the facility. You will be expected to:
- Communicate effectively and maintain visual acuity for operational tasks.
- Perform physical activities including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using standard tools.
- Work in confined spaces and adapt to changing work conditions.
