Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
  • Perform procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols.
  • Display knowledge and comply with National Patient Safety goals.
  • Support and report any identified compliance matters.
  • Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional development and education for technical competency.
  • Use standard precautions and PPE at all times.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
  • Attend all required educational programs and Learn modules.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilize resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.
  • Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Required licensure and certifications: NMTL (KY), CNMT, BLS-CPR within 5 days.
  • Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred but not essential for all positions.
