At Los Angeles Family Services, we are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a primary care clinic. Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled clinician to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices, in a dynamic primary care setting.
The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in primary care and be fluent in the Spanish language, as we primarily serve Hispanic patients.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting thorough examinations and interpreting lab tests
- Diagnosing health conditions and illnesses
- Prescribing medications and maintaining accurate records
- Informing patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educating patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
- Overseeing patients' overall health and promoting good health practices
- Advancing professional knowledge and conducting research
This is a part-time or full-time position, and the salary will be commensurate with experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a non-physician provider in a clinic, hospital, or urgent care setting
- Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills and strong ethics
- A valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and certification
- A minimum of two years experience in a hospital, clinic setting or urgent care
