Job Title: Registered Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Cura Hospitality in Meadowbrook. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing the nutritional needs of our patients/residents, developing and implementing interventions to achieve and maintain optimal nutritional status, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients/residents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, and consultants on nutrition-related topics.
* Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
* Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies, and participate in problem-solving related to dining services and nutrition.
* Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

Requirements:

* Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
* Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
* Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
* Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
* Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
* Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
