Job Summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian Specialist to join our team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care to patients with cancer in the ambulatory care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition care plans for patients with cancer
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless implementation of nutrition care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited didactic program in dietetics and an accredited dietetic internship program
  • 3+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
