We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician or Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team in Kent, WA.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial electrical and electronic systems to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of manufacturing and facility electrical equipment and controls.
- Install, service, and repair electrical machinery, equipment, and circuits ranging from low to high voltage.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, electrical safe work practices, and NFPA 70E standards.
- Document maintenance actions, including repairs made, parts used, and time spent, to maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide technical support and training to other maintenance personnel and operators as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in electrical technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician or Electronics Technician, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, electronic controls, and variable speed drive systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including PLCs.
- Familiarity with industrial communication networks and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Availability to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed.
