Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management: Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Resource Management: Manage and schedule subcontractors, materials, and equipment deliveries to maintain project timelines.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers to address any changes, concerns, or updates.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor site personnel to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects, such as retail, office, hospitality, automotive, or healthcare facilities.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
