About the Job LPN Unit Manager
Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the assigned unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment and improve patient outcomes.
- Mentor and coach less experienced nurses, providing guidance and support to enhance their clinical and leadership skills.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
- Address resident and family concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Represent the unit's interests and concerns to the upper-level management, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Valid state LPN license
- 3 years of long-term care experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
