Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tower Technician to join our team at High Tech Construction, a leading general contractor in the telecommunications industry. Founded in 2010, we pride ourselves on delivering efficient and quality services while maintaining a safe workspace for all employees.

The ideal candidate will have experience with wireless radio and antenna system upgrades and installations, as well as climbing elevated structures and working at various elevations on cell towers, water tanks, and rooftops.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work and are not afraid of heights. Our company offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including paid holidays, health insurance, 401K program, and paid vacation after one year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting tower top hands with completion of wireless radio and antenna system upgrades and installations
  • Climbing elevated structures and working at various elevations on cell towers, water tanks, and rooftops
  • Assisting with the installation and wiring of remote radio heads and antennas, grounding, coax, power, and fiber cabling
  • Using proper PPE, inspecting equipment, and observing/remedying possible hazards in the workspace

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Ability to pass a drug and background check
  • Ability to work at various elevated heights
  • Ability to climb tall structures up to 400' with load
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of position
  • Demonstrated good listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in Ohio weather elements
  • Ability to travel as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years of general construction or mechanical field experience
  • OSHA 10 or 30, CPR/First-aid, or Blood borne pathogens training
