The Human Resources Intern role at Textron Aviation is an exciting opportunity to support various human resources activities. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standard and customized processes for human resources to support HR management, business partners, and other internal customers.
Partner with functional leadership to drive talent management/development programs and philosophies consistent with the organization's strategy, goals, and values.
Participate in the implementation of human resources technology enhancements.
Support internal talent acquisition, including sourcing talent, building talent pipelines, and identifying talent gaps/needs. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to set recruitment strategies and oversee recruitment processes.
Other projects and assignments to support and gain exposure to different human resources fields.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
Excellent professional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with HR-sensitive material.
Customer service focus.
Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week, typically from late-May to early-August, lasting 10 weeks. Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
