About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Refrigeration Systems Engineer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, operate, and maintain refrigeration systems to ensure maximum operating efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Perform daily routine inspections of refrigeration equipment, including engine room logs, and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct HVAC repairs and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of refrigeration systems.
  • Collaborate with facility management, subordinates, and vendors to ensure a high level of professionalism and effective problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA operational requirements and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Tech School Graduate in HVAC or Equivalent Field, preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years working knowledge of the public refrigerated warehouse (PRW) industry or related field.
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration control systems, mechanics, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and manage stress and productivity guidelines.
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting and bending.
