Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Christus Health, you will play a critical role in coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical and medical imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures
  • Adhere to standards for radiation safety and waste separation and disposal
  • Document daily calibrations, flood films, and quality control tests
  • Perform periodic quality control tests and document according to hospital policies
  • Demonstrate adherence to the CORE Values of CHRISTUS Health

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting
  • 2 years of experience in a clinical Radiology setting preferred
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required
