About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Meat Cutter to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, provide training and support to colleagues, and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Be an Expert: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Be a Business Leader: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and profitability.
  • Be a Customer Advocate: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that members have a positive experience in the meat department.
  • Be a Trainer: Train and develop colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Comply with Company Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and report any concerns or issues to management.
Requirements
  • 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
