As a local business in Delaware County, PA, we are committed to delivering exceptional animal care services when pet owners are unavailable. Our offerings include daily dog walks, vacation visits, overnight stays, and cat care. With our rapid growth, we are eager to welcome more passionate animal enthusiasts to our workforce.
Work Schedule:
This position is designed for part-time employment. Ideal candidates should be available consistently from Monday to Friday, between 10 AM and 3 PM. Depending on client demand and staffing, you may be assigned 5-10 visits daily, with additional earning opportunities available before 10 AM, after 3 PM, and on weekends.
- Part-time roles typically require 15-30 hours of work weekly.
- Operating hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM.
- Availability is crucial; we prefer candidates with consistent schedules.
- Multiple work availability blocks include:
- Early Daytime: 7 AM - 2 PM
- Daytime Only: 9 AM - 3 PM
- Evening/Weekend: 5 PM - 10 PM at least 3 days per week, 3 weekends per month
- Optional overnight pet sitting opportunities are also available.
- Note: Availability blocks do not guarantee continuous work throughout the entire time.
- Availability for part-time work on major holidays is required.

We are currently hiring in various communities within the region.
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $21, based on visits. Staff members typically start at $17 per hour, with most averaging $19-$21 per hour, including bonuses and client gratuities.
- Monthly earnings can range from $1,000 to $2,300.
- 100% of client gratuities are retained by staff.
- Mileage reimbursement is provided.
- Overnight services offer a flat rate of $79.95 per night.
- Employee discounts and paid training are included.

- Provide a variety of services, including daily dog walks, vacation visits, overnight stays, and cat care.
- Exhibit empathy and patience towards all pets, regardless of size or species.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and management.
- Demonstrate reliability and dedication, as animals depend on our services.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
- Possess a modern smartphone with texting, photo, data, and GPS capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure punctuality for all scheduled visits.
- Show a genuine desire to care for animals and prioritize their safety.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Honest, patient, and enthusiastic individuals who can deliver high-quality care to pets.
- Previous experience with animals, whether professional or volunteer, is preferred, though a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued.
- Enjoyment of an active work environment, with the ability to work independently outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Preference will be given to candidates with availability during evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
