Maintenance Manager Job Description

About the Role:

RPM Living is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • EPA certification required.
  • CPO preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

This role is based on-site and requires spending time outside with exposure to the elements. May require working in confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous areas.
