Lead Home Health Operations with Compassion and Expertise

The Branch Director is a pivotal role at CenterWell Home Health, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our home health branches. This includes ensuring operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, and support for business development and patient growth. As a leader, you will supervise clinical staff, direct responsibility for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and contribute to long-range planning, fiscal viability, and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Supervise and support clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Area Director of Operations and Finance Department to establish revenue and budget goals.
  • Recognize and support clinical leadership to promote effective performance and delivery of quality home care services.
  • Maintain office operations in a safe, efficient, and organized manner, meeting local ordinances and regulations.
  • Conduct continuous quality improvement meetings, review patient satisfaction data, and follow up on negative surveys and visits.
  • Communicate with the Area Director of Operations for direction, problem-solving, and implementation of programs and protocols.
  • Partner with Sales Directors and Account Managers to meet admission goals and participate in sales and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure (in the state of practice) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably within Home Health or Hospice.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff.
  • Experienced with quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Fiscal management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • EMR proficiency, prior Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is a plus.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance.
