We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice at KPMG. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, advising on tactical issues, and overseeing teams of tax professionals working on client projects.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with large clients, acting as a first point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Manage relationships at a senior level with large clients, providing strategic guidance and advice on tax matters.
- Oversee the risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and budgeting for assigned projects.
- Assess the tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments, and provide recommendations to clients.
- Participate in market and business activities, providing direction to and maintaining managerial responsibility for a team.
- Act as a coach and mentor to other tax professionals.
- Minimum eight years of recent experience as a tax senior manager in a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, in addition to other approved credentials.
- Alternative investments experience, including investment partnership and/or mutual fund tax.
- Proficiency in the taxation of corporations, consolidated entities, partnerships, and other flow-through entities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
