Job Summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team at North Idaho Correctional Institution. As a Dental Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist, assisting in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
  • Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
  • Operating radiographic equipment
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months of experience as a dental assistant
  • Idaho DA license or ability to obtain license
  • Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
