Culinary Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group, North America. This full-time role involves overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while adhering to established recipes and production standards.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations by properly storing food and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Monitor food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures to guarantee quality and safety.
• Engage with customers to address any concerns and relay important feedback to management.
• Maintain an understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate them to both staff and patrons.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate deliveries, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked.
• Perform additional duties as required to support kitchen operations.
