Position Overview

Procon Consulting is in search of a dedicated Electrical Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, primarily focused on the preparation of design documentation and scopes of work for architectural and engineering services, as well as construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on the technical management of engineering aspects related to building structures.
  • Oversee the overall management of projects, ensuring technical quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
  • Develop Task Order requirements and acquisition packages for governmental use.
  • Assist in executing various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and field inspections to assess the condition of facilities and systems.
  • Responsible for engineering analysis, design development, and preparation of comprehensive plans and specifications for new projects and improvements.
Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as construction, architecture, or engineering.
  • A strong background in Electrical Engineering principles and analytical techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard software, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Experience with DoD project programming and the development of programming documents.
Essential Skills

The candidate should also demonstrate:

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of CPM scheduling.

This role requires a proactive approach to project management and a commitment to achieving high standards of technical excellence.
