We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our La Crosse office. As a Tax Manager, you will manage staff, prepare tax returns, market to new clients, and serve current clients as their trusted adviser.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff management, including delegation of work, training, and supervision
  • Tax return preparation - individuals, business, and fiduciary
  • Billing process assistance/perform client billing
  • Business development in the community through marketing and outreach
  • Client relationships and project management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification preferred
  • Eight or more years of similar experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Business development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of tax regulations
  • Proficiency with PC software, including spreadsheets and automated accounting packages

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
