Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technologist II to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing all collection procedures and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all collection procedures in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure that all laboratory procedures are followed and that quality assurance is maintained
  • Advise and assist in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and hospital staff
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of relevant phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy Certification ASCP, NHA, ASPT, AMT or a national accrediting agency approved by Laboratory Senior Leadership required
