Job Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Design and implement software solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
  • 2+ years of Kubernetes Services with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts.
  • Proficiency in Full Stack Development.
  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
  • J2EE technologies: Java11+, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB.
  • Cloud-based development: Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Web Servers: Tomcat, Websphere.
  • Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML).
  • Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
  • Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, Junit, Mockito.
  • Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub and Azure DevOps Azure Data explorer, and Elastic Search.
  • Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ, Redis Cache.
  • Experience with TDD and BDD development pattern.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
  • Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment .
