Protector of Classified Information

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, offers a unique opportunity for a Cleared Security Officer to join our team. With a focus on protecting classified information and personnel, this role requires exceptional skills and attention to detail.

This position is located in Uniondale, Long Island, and involves working as part of a dynamic team that safeguards people, assets, and sensitive information. As a Cleared Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality security services with professionalism
• Conducting patrols within and around the facility to ensure protection of people, assets, and sensitive information
• Greeting guests and employees, escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• FOLLOWING SITE-SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE MANUALS AND POST ORDERS; REPORTING SAFETY CONCERNS, SECURITY BREACHES, AND UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES VIA WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION TO CLIENT AND/OR OTHER SECURITY PERSONNEL
• Responding to and assessing security alarms or emergency alarms
• Acting as a first responder in emergency situations

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• A Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Prior military experience or a minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
