Job Summary

As a Department of Defense Cleared Security Officer at Allied Universal, you will be part of a team that protects classified information and personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
  • Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
  • Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
  • Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • A Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Prior military experience, effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills, and intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
