Position: Manufacturing Customer Support Specialist
Compensation: $24-$30/hour
Work Environment: 100% onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients, sales personnel, and production teams to guarantee that projects are executed according to client specifications.
- Evaluate quotes for precision and detail, coordinating with the Estimating department.
- Generate production tickets utilizing the estimate details provided by sales or clients.
- Oversee specific projects with clients, liaising with Production to fulfill client needs.
- Track the quality and advancement of assigned projects to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain communication with clients, sales, and production teams regarding scheduling and inquiries related to projects.
- Offer insights to clients and internal teams concerning potential issues that may impact project quality or delivery timelines.
- Conduct quality assessments and provide proofs or samples for client review.
- Prepare invoices for completed projects.
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives to enhance client satisfaction.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with accounts to promote client retention.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in manufacturing is essential; 3-5 years in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a collaborative spirit with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail with a robust work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly MS Excel.
- Experience in estimating is advantageous.
